I started Kung Fu when I was 10, and have since then been training and branching out. After I had a severe ankle injury in 2003 I couldn't walk properly for 9 months and couldn't kick a heavy bag for 2 years. Thankfully I 'fell' into Qigong to help me through the healing of my injury.

Even in my first Qigong class I thought it was the most amazing thing to feel this energy in my hands that I've known to exist before, but to actually be guided in a systematic way to understanding the reality of it flowing through me was awesome. I attribute the healing of my injury beyond what the physiotherapist told me was possible to Qigong and T'ai Chi.

Interested in the faster healing, new internal awareness, and mental control, I pursued Qigong and Taoist internal Kung Fu to the famous Wudang Mountain in China. During my last couple of months, I was beyond joy to hear my teacher tell me my T'ai Chi was perfect. After one year of daily, intensive training, as a 16th generation disciple, not a tourist student, I moved on to Nepal to study Ancient "Thai" Massage (Nuad Phaen Boran) and energy based treatments.

In Nepal I was put through a different kind of training, that of compassion and to look at my weaknesses. It was the most emotionally intense rollercoaster I've had; all of that was to understand, and come to terms with myself. I'm not finished, nobody really is until they are full enlightened. Ancient Thai Massage was more than I anticipated and an amazingly comprehensive system. I now hope to share what I've learned in the form of treatments, classes, conversations, and whatever means I can.
