Healing Qi Gong

Health Ch'i Kung (Qi Gong) aims to restore the natural balance of bioelectricity to the organs, which in turn balances our emotions. Sometimes our emotions control us because of the way our organs are functioning, at others it is because our mind is weak and undisciplined.

A dedicated practice leads to:

  • strong, dense bones
  • increased vitality
  • better and regulated circulation
  • healthy organs
  • better digestion and nutrient absorption
  • mobility and ease of movement
  • mental clarity
  • increased relaxation
  • stress reduction in tense situations

Ch'i Kung is a practice that incorporates breathing techniques, specific movements, and postures to help adjust the practitioner’s body and mind, heighten feeling, create internal awareness, and develop bodily communication to promote an overall more balanced and healthy existence. Ch'i Kung is the ultimate practice of Yin and Yang because the main focus is to create a harmonious balance between stillness, movement, and the ability transition between both coordinated with breath control.

Ch'i/Qi/Prana is universal energy. Within the body, it is our life force, shaped by every aspect of our mind and spirit. Ch'i nourishes our physical body, so by training the mind and spirit together with Ch'i, we are administering our own natural medicine. Ch'i Kung is a cornerstone in Traditional and Classical Chinese Medicine. While acupuncture and herbal medicine affect different qualities of energy in the body, Ch'i Kung exercises do the same.
